DESCRIPTION:As part of Warrington Arts Festival, for one night only, beneath Luke Jerram’s extraordinary Mars installation, the spirit of the Haçienda comes to life for a rare and intimate clubnight. Joining the DJ lineup are club culture icon Dave Haslam alongside Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert of New Order for a night of electronic sounds, underground classics and dancefloor favourites.\nDave Haslam DJed over 450 times at the legendary Haçienda during Manchester’s Madchester era, becoming one of the defining DJs of the city’s underground scene. Known for his eclectic, forward-thinking sets, he has played alongside artists including New Order and The Stone Roses, with appearances everywhere from Cream and Ibiza to Berlin, Chicago and Detroit. Alongside DJing, he is also an acclaimed writer and longtime champion of emerging music culture.\nStephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert are founding members of New Order, one of the most influential bands in alternative and electronic music.
