DESCRIPTION:Within the Folds is a new exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Chloe Watts, whose practice spans illustration, design and animation.\n\nDrawing on her lived experience of mental health, Watts uses making as a way to process complex emotions, developing a prolific body of work that gives form to often unspoken feelings. This exhibition centres on an installation inspired by her childhood experience of folding 1,000 origami cranes during a hospital stay – an act of extraordinary hope and endurance.\nExtending this gesture, visitors are invited to contribute their own folded cranes, reflecting on personal memories and adding to a growing collective work. Together, these individual responses create a shared space that mirrors the persistence and intensity of inner thought.\n\nThe exhibition will be available to view from Saturday, July 4th, until Sunday, August 30th, 2026.\nImage via Warrington Museum and Art Gallery\n
