DESCRIPTION:Warrington’s Music Month is back this May and it’s bigger, louder, and more exciting than ever.\nFollowing a hugely successful debut in 2024, this month-long celebration of live music is returning to stages, squares, and venues all across the town centre.\nLed by Warrington BID and supported by local businesses, Music Month was born out of a love for live music and thanks to last year’s phenomenal response and the 2025 programme is packed.\nHere’s what you can look forward to:\nGolden Square – A Night of Legends ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/golden-square-presents-tribute-night-2025/ )\nOn Sunday, May 4th, top tribute acts will take to the stage from 6pm including:\n\nGold Dust Dreams as Fleetwood Mac – 7:00pm\nWith The Beatles as The Beatles – 8:20pm\nMercury as Queen – 9:30pm\n\n \nOver at Pyramid Parr Hall: \nPriestley College Presents: Tribute 70s & 80s ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/priestley-college-presents-tribute-70s-80s/ ) – showcasing Year 2 Music Performance students in a high-energy celebration of iconic hits from two legendary decades on Thursday, May 1st.\nThe ELO Show ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/the-elo-show/ ) – a stunning new stage production, featuring an incredible band, a female string section, and a dazzling light and laser show on Saturday, May 3rd.\nToo Much Too Young ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/too-much-too-young-the-story-of-2-tone-beyond/ ) – Celebrate 2 Tone music on Saturday, May 10th in a lively show tracing its journey from Jamaican ska to its British revival in the 70s and 80s.\nThe Shires ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/the-shires/ ) –  Catch the UK’s biggest country duo are on their 2025 acoustic tour ‘The Two of Us’, featuring classic tracks on Friday, May 16th.\n \nTime Square – Warrington Market Live Nights \nSoul & Motown Night ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/soul-motown-night-featuring-soul-station-2/ ) – Get ready to groove with Soul Station on Sunday, May 4th at 7pm.\nCookhouse Live: Dizzy Brasscals  ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/cookhouse-live-presents-dizzy-brasscals/ )– A brassy, high-energy party set packed with dancefloor anthems on Saturday, May 31st at 8.30pm.\n \nLive Music at Costello’s Bar  ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/live-music-line-up-at-costellos-bar-2/ )\nCostello’s Bar in Time Square has live music on every weekend in May with performances from Fleegles, Black Sheep,  Safehouse, True Reflections, Northern Soul and Purple.\n\nProms in the Square ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/proms-in-the-square-3/ )\nProms in the Square returns to Warrington’s Time Square for it’s third year on Sunday, June 1st, from 12–9pm, for a free day of live music, food, and community celebration, featuring The Untold Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Wind Quintet, West End tribute ‘Wickeder’, and more—marking the grand finale of Warrington’s Music Month.\n \nWarrington Food and Drink Festival ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/warrington-town-centre-food-drink-festival/ )\nThe first-ever Warrington town centre Food and Drink Festival will take place on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th. Alongside the food traders, producers and chef demos, a live music element will see performers take to the main stage across the weekend.\n \nWarrington Music Festival ( https://wearewarringtonbid.co.uk/events/warrington-music-festival-3/ )\nTaking place, on Saturday, May 31st from 12pm to 11pm, almost 30 emerging artists and bands will perform across two stages at  Golden Square and Time Square.
