SUMMARY:Warrington Youth Zone’s Family Friendly Pride Activities
DESCRIPTION:For those with younger people wanting to celebrate Pride this year, Warrington Youth Zone has you sorted.\nOn Saturday, June 14th, starting in the Forum Centre Space at University of Chester from 10.15am – 11.45am the Youth Zone will put on a colourful arts activity facilitated by Story Stitchers and Culture Warrington.\nFamilies and young people can come to create flags, banners and badges to carry in the parade.\nThen, at Warrington Youth Zone from 12pm – 4pm there will be a Rainbow Family Day for ages 7 – 12 and families, which is free to members.\nAnd to finish off the evening there will be a Youth Pride After Party at the Youth Zone from 5pm – 9pm for those aged 12 – 19, for 50p entry.\nYou can also catch the Warrington Youth Zone Showcase on the Golden Square stage from 1.30pm – 2.15pm featuring singers, dancers, rappers, choirs, arts & crafts and circus skills performed by local young people.\nSee the full programme of pride events for more information here.
