LGBTQ+ Artists Sought for Special Scratch Night at Warrington Pride

Scratch Night at Parr Hall is back for a special edition as part of Warrington Pride 2025, and LGBTQ+ performing artists are invited to apply.

Following its successful relaunch in March, Scratch Night will return on Thursday, June 12th.

The event gives local creatives the chance to showcase new ideas and works in progress to a live audience in a supportive environment. It’s an opportunity to receive valuable feedback from peers and an engaged audience.

This edition of Scratch Night has a particular focus on championing LGBTQ+ artists as part of the wider Warrington Pride celebrations, encouraging performers from the LGBTQ+ community to share their stories and creativity. Artists from all disciplines, including theatre, comedy, spoken word, dance, and music, are welcome to apply.

Performance pieces of up to 20 minutes in length, or excerpts from longer works, are being considered. Successful applicants will receive £150 for their time and contribution to the event.

The deadline for applications is Friday, May 9th, and the event will take place on Thursday, June 12th.
