Warrington’s much-loved Victoria Park Experience (VPX) is back and this summer it’s bigger, better and on the move.
This August, VPX will take place over four free family fun days across Warrington, including three major events in Warrington Town Centre, proudly supported by Warrington Business Improvement District (BID).
Originally launched in Victoria Park, VPX is known for delivering exciting free activities that bring together families, community groups and local organisations. The 2025 series begins on Wednesday, August 6th in Bank Park, perfectly timed to celebrate National Play Day.
The following week on Wednesday, August 13th, the event will move into the heart of Warrington Town Centre, transforming Market Gate and Time Square into lively hubs of family fun with support from Warrington BID, Golden Square Shopping Centre and Warrington Borough Council.
VPX will return to Victoria Park on Wednesday, August 20th for the first time in six years before concluding the series on Wednesday, August 27th at Warrington Youth Zone on Dallam Lane.
Organised by Warrington Youth Zone and Cheshire Police, all events are free to attend and open to families across Warrington.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including sports, creative workshops, live music, games and more thanks to partnerships with local organisations such as Warrington Wolves Foundation, LiveWire and many community groups.
VPX first launched over a decade ago and attracted more than 12,000 children and young people before pausing during the pandemic. Its return signals a renewed focus on accessible community-led events that respond to the needs of local families.
