‘Beauty and the Beast’ is coming to Warrington next January, in partnership with Tony Peers Ltd, starring Jake Quickenden as Gaston and Anne Hegerty as Fairy Rose.
The historic Warrington venue will be transformed into a magical world this January from Saturday, 3rd to Sunday, 11th, with two stars leading the family-friendly production.
Jake Quickenden, singer, actor, and TV personality, has been a reality regular ever since his appearance on ‘The X Factor’ in 2014 and an immediate entrance into the jungle for ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ in the same year.
Competition show viewers will have seen him on BBC1’s ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ and lifting the ‘Dancing On Ice’ trophy in 2018 with his partner Vanessa Bauer.
Jake Quickenden said: “I can’t wait to thrill you all with the antics of Gaston in this production of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at the Parr Hall in Warrington in January. Do come along, it’s a great way to have fun, let your hair down and enjoy the festive season with your loved ones.”
After her incredibly popular performance as the Fairy Godmother in ‘Cinderella,’ The Governess is returning to Parr Hall to entertain families on the stage once again.
The professional quizzer, TV personality and fellow ‘I’m A Celebrity’ contestant added: “I can’t wait to be back with Tony Peers and the crew in ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ The audience are so appreciative, and the Parr Hall team make us feel really welcome!”
Charlotte Buxton returns to Parr Hall, this time as Belle after previously playing Cinderella, while Matt McInnes takes on the dual role of the Beast and Prince. Rounding out the main cast are Parr Hall favourite magician and entertainer Daniel Dean, alongside Mervyn Francis and Katie Buttner.
