Be sure to catch their temporary exhibitions before they close at the end of August. ‘Any, Body, Home’ and ‘Heartful Minds’ are available for free during regular opening times on the Saturday and Sunday.
If history is your thing, visit Warrington Central Library on Saturday, August 23rd. Drop in between 10am and midday for the Family History Help Desk to trace your ancestry.
For a more family-friendly day out, head to Golden Square Shopping Centre, where bouncy castles, bath bomb classes, and plenty of other activities keep kids active and creative.
‘Summer’s Bouncing’ is back at Old Market Square throughout the school holidays, so take the kids down to jump and giggle through the bank holiday weekend.
The shopping centre has also teamed up with Cycle Buddies so local little ones can experience their fantastic learn-to-ride lessons. On both Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th join in at the Level 3 Car Park between 9am and 10:15am.

Take your bank holiday celebrations into the night with Disco Bowl. Saturdays now feature the return of the ‘Red Pin Challenge’ from 7pm. Bowl a strike and get the chance to spin the wheel for a prize.
