Crown Ballet Set to Return to Parr Hall With a Production of The Nutcracker

Acclaimed ballet company, Crown Ballet, is bringing a sparkling winter production of the Tchaikovsky classic, The Nutcracker, to Warrington.

After a successful production of Swan Lake last year, the company will be returning to Parr hall on Wednesday 11 November.

On Christmas Eve, at the foot of a Christmas tree, a Nutcracker doll magically comes to life and audiences follow young Marie and the transformed prince. He leads her into a world of snowflakes, magical battles and the irresistible Kingdom of Sweets.

Alexej Ignatow, Director of Crown Ballet, said: “After the wonderful reception we received with Swan Lake, we’re thrilled to be returning to Parr Hall with Crown Ballet.

“The response from the Warrington audience was truly special, and we very much look forward to sharing this new production with them.”

Crown Ballet is best known for its traditional performances, presenting more than 70 ballet classics across the UK every year.

The company’s partnership with Warrington’s Parr Hall began in 2025, which became the first time ballet had been performed on the venue’s historic stage since the pandemic.
