Christmas is coming to Warrington Town Centre in a festive weekend cracker

Christmas is coming! And what better way to start the festive season than with a whole weekend of
Christmas activity and events taking place across Warrington Town Centre.

Christmas in Warrington is all set to launch in a carnival of festive fun over the weekend of Saturday
November 26 th and Sunday November 27th. So set the weekend aside because Santa Claus is coming
to town like never before.

There’s something for everyone on both days including Christmas artisan markets throughout the
main central streets, choir performances, fairground rides, light projections, the return of the At

Parade.

Everyone is invited and most activities are free including a lantern making workshop followed by the
Lantern Parade. With lanterns lit and held aloft, the Parade will march across to the Town Hall on
Saturday 26 th where at 6pm the Town Hall will be illuminated in what promises to be an unmissable
light projection extravaganza from the acclaimed Double Take Projections Company.

Supplementing Warrington’s already fantastic offering of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars.
Independent Street will champion local independent businesses by bringing the Artisan Market
across the four traditional high streets of Warrington Town Centre, Sankey Street, Horsemarket
Street, Buttermarket Street and Bridge Street which will be filled with a festive array of 60 carefully
selected artisan stalls.
