‘Drum for Health’ – Batida Rio drummers perform in Time Square

Batida Rio drummers will be performing in Time Square from 1pm until 2pm as part of the Drum for Health initiative 🥁

‘Drum for Health’ is a collaborative international project to spotlight the benefits of drumming and movement for mental and physical health.

The core aim is to make music accessible to groups and communities that wouldn’t otherwise have considered making music and being active with others. This will include people of all ages and abilities, different cultures and ethnicities, neurodivergent communities, older generations, including the elderly, and families receiving respite care.
