Free Professional Development Workshops
Warrington Arts Festival are calling for Warrington artists and creative practitioners to get involved with their free professional development workshops between Thursday, January 15th and Thursday, February 12th.
Their aim is to nurture, sustain and grow a network of Warrington artists, giving them the tools they need to create impactful work. The list of workshops includes:
- Trauma-informed practice led by Sarah Harrison-Greaves, Art Psychotherapist (Thursday, January 15th, 5pm to 8pm)
- Foundations – working with children and young people led by Lynsey O’Sullivan (Thursday, January 22nd, 6pm to 8pm)
- Access when working with children and young people led by Sarah Emmott, from Art with Heart (Thursday, January 29th, 6.30pm to 8.30pm)
- Safeguarding training and ethical practice led by Lynsey O’Sullivan (Thursday, February 5th, 6pm to 8pm)
- Co-creation and collaborative practice led by Lynsey O’Sullivan(Thursday, February 12th, 6pm to 8pm)
All sessions are free but booking is essential, you can attend one workshop or all five. They are designed as standalone learning experiences so you can focus on the skills most relevant to your practice.
