Hub of Creativity and Conversation at University Centre Warrington

To celebrate Warrington Pride 2025, University Centre Warrington, Time Square will host two excellent talks by staff and students.

1. Inclusive Smear Testing: Creating Affirming Care for the LGBTQ+ community.

1pm – 2.15pm. Lecture Room A, upstairs.

Hosted by Debz Butler, a Senior Lecturer in Nursing. It will be of interest to those passionate about inclusive health care, not just health practitioners.

2. Breaking Down Societal Barriers: From Sexuality to Disability:

2.30pm – 3.15pm. Lecture Room A, upstairs.

Hosted by Stephanie Taylor, a student at the University of Chester. She will be talking about her experience of disability, her ‘coming out’ journey, how it impacted her college years and how she’s come to embrace her own value, identity and self worth.

You need to reserve a spot so that University of Chester can keep track of numbers. Click here to get your tickets.

Both are free to attend and will be opportunities to meet new people, listen to personal stories and join important conversations.
