Party in the Park
Party in the Park is set to return to Walton Gardens on Thursday, July 10th, as part of Disability Awareness Week.
This free event is designed for children and young people with disabilities and young carers, offering a welcoming space filled with fun activities and community support.
Organised in partnership between Warrington Youth Zone, Warrington Disability Partnership, Warrington Wolves Foundation, and Warrington Parents and Carers, Party in the Park comprises two sessions:
The daytime session, running from 12pm to 2pm, is exclusively for schools and groups. Activities include disco entertainment, group games, crafts and baking, sports, and a glitter station.
A picnic area is available for young people bringing packed lunches. Schools and designated provisions are encouraged to register to participate.
The evening session, open to the public from 5pm to 8pm, features the same range of activities and welcomes families and community members. Entry is free, and dietary requirements can be accommodated upon registration.
Last year’s event achieved record attendance, and organisers hope to build on that success in 2025. Registration is required for both sessions. Schools and groups can sign up for the daytime event here, while families and individuals can register for the evening session here.
