Pride Carnival

Golden Square will host Glitter 25 as part of this year’s Pride Carnival, expanding the event into a full day of free celebrations in Warrington town centre on Saturday, June 14th.

Previously a ticketed evening event, Pride at Golden Square will now offer a full programme of live DJs, performances, and entertainment from morning until 7PM.

By opening the event to all and removing ticket barriers, it aims to create a more inclusive and accessible Pride experience for the community.

Culture Warrington’s Big Fatt Dance Party will kick of Golden Square’s Pride Carnival:

Fatt Butcher, Blu Romantic and Alanna Boden are bringing the dance party from 12.30pm – 1pm.

Warrington Youth Zone Showcase:

From 1.30pm – 2.15pm, featuring singers, dancers, rappers, choirs, arts & crafts and circus skills.

TAGS Youth Services presents A Place Where We Belong: from 2.15pm onwards.

A showcase of dance, acting, and singing performances by their talented service users, celebrating what it means to be from Warrington.

Finally, the ever-popular Silent Disco will be returning to close the Pride Carnival celebrations.

Throughout the day make sure to visit the Nando’s pop-up stall for drinks and samples and enjoy the massively popular silent disco in the afternoon.

Following the daytime event, celebrations are expected to continue across the town centre.
