The Danny
At Warrington Museum and Art Gallery there is an incredible display telling the story of how the Daniel Adamson (affectionately known as The Danny) was rescued by a dedicated volunteer and brought back to life as a piece of living maritime history.
The Danny is a beautifully preserved steamship, which has led a fascinating life from a working vessel on the Mersey and the Manchester Ship Canal to a luxurious Art Deco society vessel.
In the display you will be able to see a detailed scale model, historic pressure gauges, and a genuine fog horn from Latchford Locks.
Date range = Saturday, November 29th until Sunday, February 22nd.
