The Secret Painter – Joe Tucker in Conversation

Join Waterstones, Golden Square Shopping Centre, for a special evening with Joe Tucker, author of The Secret Painter.

On Monday, September 22nd from 7pm to 9pm, he will be in conversation about the extraordinary life and work of his uncle, Eric Tucker. Eric was a reclusive artist who lived and worked quietly in Warrington home, creating a unique world through his paintings.

The artist’s work has been compared to that of L.S. Lowry and praised by artists like Jarvis Cocker and he has been recognised as a significant figure in Outsider Art.

Joe’s book is available for the first time in paperback which can be purchased alongside a ticket for the event.

Tickets are £5 for general admission and £14 for the book & ticket bundle.
