Warrington Music Month

Warrington’s Music Month is back this May and it’s bigger, louder, and more exciting than ever.

Following a hugely successful debut in 2024, this month-long celebration of live music is returning to stages, squares, and venues all across the town centre.

Led by Warrington BID and supported by local businesses, Music Month was born out of a love for live music and thanks to last year’s phenomenal response and the 2025 programme is packed.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

Golden Square – A Night of Legends

On Sunday, May 4th, top tribute acts will take to the stage from 6pm including:

  • Gold Dust Dreams as Fleetwood Mac – 7:00pm
  • With The Beatles as The Beatles – 8:20pm
  • Mercury as Queen – 9:30pm

 

Over in Pyramid Parr Hall:

Priestley College Presents: Tribute 70s & 80s – showcasing Year 2 Music Performance students in a high-energy celebration of iconic hits from two legendary decades.

The ELO Show – a stunning new stage production, featuring an incredible band, a female string section, and a dazzling light and laser show on Saturday, May 3rd.

Too Much Too Young – Celebrate 2 Tone music on Saturday, May 10th in a lively show tracing its journey from Jamaican ska to its British revival in the 70s and 80s.

The Shires –  Catch the UK’s biggest country duo are on their 2025 acoustic tour ‘The Two of Us’, featuring classic tracks on Friday, May 16th.

 

Time Square – Warrington Market Live Nights 

Soul & Motown Night Get ready to groove with Soul Station on Sunday, May 4th at 7pm.

Cookhouse Live: Dizzy Brasscals – A brassy, high-energy party set packed with dancefloor anthems on Saturday, May 31st at 8.30pm.

 

Proms in the Square

As the Music Month finale, the family favourite event in Time Square will come back on Sunday, June 1st for a day of celebrating music.

 

Warrington Food and Drink Festival

The brand-new Warrington Food and Drink Festival will take place on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th. Alongside the food traders, producers and chef demos, a live music element will see performers take to the main stage across the weekend.

 

Warrington Music Festival

Another major highlight will be the Warrington Music Festival, bringing two days of free live music to outdoor stages at Golden Square and Time Square. Showcasing some of the region’s best emerging talent, the event promises a packed weekend at the heart of the town.

 

In addition to the main attractions, there’ll be plenty of smaller events throughout the town centre.
