Sunday 17th May: 11am – 5pm

WARRINGTON Food & Drink Festival 2026

at Bank Park and Warrington Town Hall

Warrington Town Centre is set to welcome back the food and drink festival this spring, with a full weekend of activity planned in the heart of the town.

Warrington Food and Drink Festival returns this May for its second year, following a successful debut that brought thousands of people into the town centre.

Taking place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May, the festival will once again fill Bank Park and the grounds of Warrington Town Hall with food, drink and live activity across the weekend.

Up to 80 traders will be taking part, including street food, independent producers and local hospitality businesses. It is a chance to try something new, support local businesses and spend time in the town centre. Alongside the food, there will be activity across both days, including live chef demonstrations, workshops, a music stage, circus skills, balloon modelling, face painting and a small fairground.

Organised by Warrington BID in partnership with Independent Street, Warrington Borough Council and Culture Warrington, this year’s event builds on what worked last year, with more traders and a wider programme designed to keep people in the town for longer.

The first year of the festival contributed to town centre footfall of over 67,000 across the weekend, with many businesses seeing a clear uplift. Visitors are encouraged to make a day of it, explore beyond the festival footprint and spend time across Warrington’s wider offer.

The event is part of Warrington’s wider programme and is funded through the BID levy, supporting over 330 town centre businesses through activity that brings people in and drives spend.

More updates and full event details will be shared soon – and if you’re a local trader, chef or performer interested in getting involved, you can register your interest now by emailing [email protected]
