Helping Hands: Warrington Foodbank Providing Free School Uniforms to Families in Need.

We make no secret in the We Are Warrington offices about how amazing our town is, and one of the reasons for this, is the amazing sense of community spirit across the town.

So, today’s blog is getting an important message out to those who need to hear it, whilst schools may have only just finished for summer, Warrington Foodbank is continuing to support families by offering free school uniforms from their shop in Golden Square.

You can find more information by calling into the Foodbank Information Centre, Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 2pm, situated near the Primark entrance in the Mall, where their friendly volunteers are happy to help and support families with their uniform needs ahead of September.

Similarly, if you’re not in need of the uniform but are able to assist them with donating items, funds or have time to volunteer, visit their website for more information https://warrington.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-money/. The Foodbank relies on donations to stay open, supporting communities in Warrington.

Please don’t worry about the added expense of school uniforms. The Warrington School Uniform Network is here to help. Why not call into see Geoff and the team, who can help to take the uniform burden away!
