Making Warrington a Safer Place to Live, Work, and Visit

Warrington BID is committed to making the town a safe and welcoming place for all. From business owners to residents and visitors, Warrington BID works behind the scenes to ensure safety across the town centre.

As part of National Business Crime Reduction Partnership Week (17th – 23rd March), Warrington BID highlights its ongoing efforts to reduce crime and improve safety in Warrington. By working closely with Warrington Police, Warrington BID plays a key role in creating a safer environment for all.

A key initiative is Project Servator, which focuses on proactive policing to deter crime. Officers, both uniformed and plain-clothes, monitor the town centre and engage with the public to disrupt criminal activity. Recently, Warrington BID provided new earpieces to Warrington Police, helping officers communicate more effectively and improve the success of these operations.

Warrington BID also supports the “Watch This Space” initiative, a partnership with Warrington Borough Council, Cheshire Police, and local businesses. This project has improved the town centre’s appearance and security through efforts such as planting, garden refurbishments, and addressing anti-social behaviour. Looking ahead, Watch This Space will continue to grow, including public art installations aimed at deterring crime and enhancing the environment.

Through the Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP), local businesses, police, and the community collaborate to share information and tackle crime. This partnership plays an essential role in keeping Warrington safe and secure for everyone.

Together, with the support of the community, Warrington BID continues to make Warrington a safer place to live, work, and visit.
