Wildlife presenter and Strictly Come Dancing champion Hamza Yassin will be visiting Warrington next year to share his favourite stories from filming adventures around the world.
He’s bringing his first UK-wide theatre tour, My Life Behind the Lens, to Warrington’s Parr Hall on Tuesday, 3rd February 2026, at 7:30pm.
Often dubbed “the next David Attenborough,” Hamza is known for his infectious sense of wonder and deep passion for the natural world. In this special evening, he’ll share treasured memories from both his personal life and professional career.
Take a step behind the scenes as Hamza reflects on his journey, from working as a cameraman to becoming one of Britain’s most beloved natural history storytellers.
Hamza said: “My mission is to get people outside and experience the wonder of the natural world. Immersing yourself in nature is an effective antidote to the anxieties of modern life.”
Hamza is known for presenting BBC’s Animal Park and appearing as a guest presenter on Countryfile. He won Strictly Come Dancing in 2022, lifting the glitterball trophy with his partner Jowita Przystal.
Younger audiences will recognise him as Ranger Hamza from CBeebies’ Let’s Go for a Walk and Ranger Hamza’s Eco Quest.
