Summer Fair
Roll up, roll up to Golden Square for all the fabulous fun of the fair! From 4th August to 3rd September you can enjoy fab fairground rides, try your luck at hook-a-duck or at the coconut shy, plus there’s delicious food & drink to enjoy and lots of nostalgic fun with the whole family. Open 10-5pm daily, payable locally.
Summer Market
Time Square is becoming THE go-to destination for The Makers Market; bringing together independent artisans, makers, performers and businesses to create a brilliant, local community monthly market.
The Makers Market takes place in Time Square every second Sunday of the month. So head to Warrington town centre on Sunday 13th August, 11 am to 4 pm, or Sunday 10th September and why not make a day of it and stay for food and drinks in our award-winning market.
Summer Drinks
On 5th and 6th of August, head to Time Square for Warrington’s newest artisan drinks festival, Hop Grape & Grain. Making its debut this year at Time Square, championing local breweries. Discover a huge array of beer, gin, and cocktails alongside live music.
Summer Unplugged
‘For One Mike Only Unplugged’ hits Warrington Market/Cookhouse on Friday 11th August from 8pm. A charity fundraiser for the National Autistic Society, this promises to be a night of Live Music from some of the region’s best live performers. Who knows, you may see the Next Big Thing!
Summer Sport
In celebration of the Women’s World Cup Final, Streetwise Soccer will be bringing their pop-up courses to Time Square for a fun day of activity and skill sharing on Thursday 17th August, 11am – 4pm. There will be three activations onsite, including the Panna Cage, Speed Cage and Football Shootout.
On the 24th of September, starting and finishing at the Town Hall’s iconic Golden Gates, we will see thousands of runners take part in The Warrington Running Festival, now in its third year. The event is now fully booked, but please join us to support the runners in the Half Marathon or 10k in and around Warrington Town Centre.
Summer Songs
Proms in the Square will make its debut on the 20th of August at Times Square. Celebrating the local community and showcasing the best musical talent across the region with a spectacular headliner, this is one event not to miss, 2-10 pm.
