TAGS (Teenager, Gender & Sexuality Youth Support), Golden Square and HC Promotions are proud to announce that United Utilities will be supporting Warrington Pride ‘23 at Golden Square. This collaboration marks an exciting milestone in the history of Warrington Pride and highlights the power of working together toward a common goal of inclusivity and diversity.

Thanks to the support from United Utilities LGBT+ Employee Network, Golden Square and HC Promotions, Warrington Pride will now be a FREE EVENT!

Brian Morgan-Scrutton and Angie Taylor, Co-Chairs of United Utilities’ LGBT+ Together employee network, said: “We are pleased to be supporting Warrington Pride and helping to make the event fully accessible to all.

“As a Warrington-based organisation we know how wonderfully diverse our town is, and we’re proud to champion diversity and inclusion in our workplace and across the region.

“We are committed to helping make the North West stronger, fairer and greener by working within our communities and providing local investment, educational programmes and volunteering, and supporting Warrington Pride 2023 is a fantastic part of that.”

Ian Cox, the Director of Golden Square, and partner of Warrington Pride said, “We would like to thank United Utilities for this support towards Warrington Pride ‘23 at Golden Square. The echoes of the pandemic are still making it challenging to organise events, but United Utilities’ support has provided us the opportunity to do it right without leaving anyone behind.”

“Golden Square recognises the vital role we have to play in creating thriving communities. We are delighted to be working alongside United Utilities and HC Promotions, to host Warrington Pride ’23 here and to help ensure it is fully inclusive and accessible.”

Warrington Pride ‘23 at Golden Square will showcase a range of LGBTQ+ performances, including performances from DJ & singer Fleur East, Crystal from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 1, and performances from local LGBTQ+ artists.

With United Utilities’ support, the event can be viewed by anyone who wishes to participate in this three-day celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

The Glitter ’23 festival is set to take place on 24th June 2023 as part of Warrington Pride celebrations. Anyone who has already bought tickets for the event should contact HC Promotions for details regarding refunds.

Tickets will still be required for the evening event and can be ordered from www.hcpromotions.co.uk now for free. Ts&Cs apply.
