Warrington BID was established in 2018. It’s a not for profit organisation that operates within a defined geographical area, where business ratepayers have voted to invest collectively in local improvements that are in addition to those already provided by statutory bodies. We deliver a programme of works in conjunction with the local authority, Cheshire police and other public agencies to make the town centre more attractive, safe and welcoming through the provision of:
- Town Centre events and activities
- Environmental improvements, including enhancing green spaces, graffiti removal and additional cleaning
- Marketing and promotion of the town centre through positive news stories and social media coverage
- Crime/ ASB reduction programme – including additional CCTV cameras. Store radio link and sponsorship of drugs dog.
